Hello,

After having spent a few days in Bangalore at the University campus where we bouth had a bit of a funny tumy and so on... we took a train to Mysore where we could have a look at the pretty increadibole Maharadja Palace and wich was compleatly lit up by thousands of lights on the Sundaynight. This city is famous for sandalwood so you can go and see how they make the incense stiks and buy some there for the increadible prizes they make for the tourists, actually nearly everybody here wants to rip you off in some way and untill you don't get an idea of the prizes and of how things work here you are bound to be daily ript off.

Not everything is so wonderfully nice...

Anyway, after Mysore we whent south to Cochi wich wasn't very special, apart from the nice boat rides from one place to another, so we whent a bit in to the mountains to a village called Munar, a very pleasn't village sorrounded by tea plantages and with a cooler climate, we spent a few days there mostly walking and enjoying the scenary...
Now we have come back down to sea level to Kottayam before going to the Yoga Ashram where we've booked till the 5th of january. The day before yesterday we spent the day on the boat through the Backwaters, canals through rice plantages and a house here and there on a bit of land with coconut and abanana trees and sorrounded by water.
Yesterday the hole of India whent on strike so we couldn't do anything we had planed, we where luky to get a bit of something to eat, and today we are in a bit of a hurry 'couse we have to be taking the bus to Trivandrum pretty soon.
